Completeness
The design principle of completeness is inherent in the Tilt-Dam
system. Unlike other demountable systems which require storage
of components away from site and transport with lifting equipment
to mobilise the flood defence, the Tilt-Dam system has all necessary
components stored under the individual units.
- Side seals to form the vertical seal between tilting units
- Props for structural supports to hold units safely against
overtopping
- Staging for access across the dry duct
- Hand railing for operational safety
- Lighting for night-time work
