Easy Maintenance
The Tilt-Dam system has been made as maintenance free as possible.
- There are only three moving parts - all long life and
proven products viz.
- Bearings
- Locks
- Latches
- A twice yearly inspection routine enables checks on
reliability to be made and to identify items in need of maintenance
- The props have a secondary role in holding the tilting
units at an angle to enable inspection (and renewal where found
necessary) of the horizontal seal
