Speed of mobilisation
The Tilt-Dam system is uniquie in its remarkable speed of mobilisation.
- Prototype testing for performance at the Building Research
Establishment (Dec. 04) gave a conservative speed for 2 men,
of 1 metre / minute
- The factors contibuting to this speed are :-
Counterbalancing for manual lift
All assembly components to hand
No auxilliry power or transport of kit required
Unskilled labour can be employed
Procedure is simple (Similar to a sash window)
unlock - raise - insert side seals & fasten props
